Defects, claims & return of product:  The Company’s liability for a breach of a condition or warranty implied by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 is limited to any one or more of the following: replacement of the Goods or the supply of equivalent goods  – the repair of the Goods – payment of the cost of replacing the Goods or of acquiring equivalent goods  – payment of the cost of having the Goods repaired; and in the case of services: – the supply of the services again; or – the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

In order to make a claim or request Ameda Australia to accept return of goods, the Customer must first contact the Company by telephone within (14) days of receiving the Goods.  Where the Company is responsible for incorrect stock being supplied, or where the Goods are defective or faulty, the Company will cover the transport costs associated with the return and re-supply of the correct Goods.

Change of mind:  Under Section 19 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS Act) Persons Conducting Business has primary duty of care to ensure individuals are not exposed to risks to their health and safety. Infectious agents can be spread in a variety of ways, including skin-to-skin contact. The transfer of some pathogens can occur through touch, or by sharing personal items, clothing or objects. Our returns policy is in accordance to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and the WHS Act 2011 because we want you and our staff to be happy and safe with your purchase.

If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, Ameda Australia will offer you an exchange voucher or refund provided that:

• You contact Ameda Australia within (14) days of receiving the Goods;
• You return the item within 28 days of purchase with proof of purchase;
• It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories;
• It is unworn, unopened, unused and in its original condition;

Faulty Returns:  Ameda Australia will offer a refund, repair, credit or exchange on any item purchased if the item is found to have a genuine manufacturers fault, does not correspond to the descriptions given to the purchaser and/or is unable to do what it is supposed to. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Ameda Australia reserves the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing a repair, exchange or refund. This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused
