Description
Ameda's HygieniKit Milk Collection System uses a patented closed-system barrier designed to help keep expressed milk separate from the pump tubing.
Features
- The closed-system design helps prevent air and moisture crossing between the expressed milk and the tubing during pumping, helping keep the tubing dry.

Cleaning
Clean the parts that come into contact with milk after every use — the breast flange, diaphragm, valves and bottle. Rinse with cool water first, then wash by hand in warm, soapy water and allow to air dry on a clean surface. Do not use solvents or abrasives, and do not insert anything into the valve.
The tubing, tubing adapter and adapter cap do not come into contact with milk. Do not wash, boil or microwave them.
Check all parts for cracks, chips, colour changes or wear before and after each use, as these can affect how the system works. Replace any part that is damaged.
Ameda CleanEase microwavable steam bags can be used to sanitise pre-cleaned parts. Refer to the Instructions for Use supplied with your kit, and to your hospital's protocol if you are expressing in a healthcare facility.
